The standout feature is Seldén’s patented ratchet system, which helps keep the sail securely under control while furling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe CXr ratchet prevents the sail from accidentally unfurling. To release the sail, simply give the furling line a short, firm pull in the direction you want the drum to turn. Once released, the drum spins freely as you pull the sheet, allowing the sail to unfurl smoothly and evenly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFurling a large top-down sail can require effort, but the CXr makes the process easier. The ratchet can hold the sail securely under load, allowing you to stop at any point and rest before continuing.
