The forged, hard-anodized aluminum drum is designed with vertically machined ribs in an asymmetric pattern. This prevents the loaded line from slipping or jumping as it releases, ensuring consistent control.

Traditional symmetric ribs cause the line to “hop” from rib to rib under load. ART’s asymmetric layout avoids this, delivering better grip and a smoother, more controlled release.
